About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive related technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for Reddit’s Comments page
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts
Execute product and business strategy
Build novel products and features for Reddit users

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 3+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience in large-scale distributed systems
3+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Go, Python, Rust, Ruby
Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift or gRPC basics
Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully remote environment
Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
