About the role

Reddit's Ads Business Engineering team delivers technical expertise and solutions that empower technology partners, agencies, and advertisers to seamlessly integrate with Reddit’s advertising platform.
The Staff-level role combines deep technical consulting with hands-on engineering to guide strategic integrations across Reddit’s stack and partner environments.
You’ll work across engineering, product, sales, and business development to connect Reddit’s capabilities to evolving market needs.
Responsibilities include acting as trusted advisor, designing proofs of concept, architecting multi-system integrations, leading onboarding and testing, and shaping go-to-market strategies.
You’ll define reusable technical patterns, documentation, and tooling to improve developer experience and support escalations for complex integrations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of software development experience, with a strong track record of owning end-to-end technical projects, including cross-org coordination.
Demonstrated experience architecting solutions that span systems or teams, ideally in advertising, data platforms, or large-scale integrations.
Hands-on coding expertise in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js), with a focus on backend or API development.
Proven ability to contribute directly to external integrations and prototype in partner environments.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and modern SDK patterns.
Effective communicator with experience presenting complex technical and business ideas to both internal leadership and external stakeholders.
