  • An ideal candidate would have 5-10 years of broad experience directly negotiating vendor agreements and collaborating with internal stakeholders, preferably at an online UGC platform or other tech company.
  • What You’ll Do: Serve as a strategic and pragmatic legal partner to our procurement, finance, IT, Ads, Measurement and other internal teams as they plan and execute their roadmaps.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of inbound commercial agreements, ensuring favorable and compliant terms for Reddit.
  • Provide practical and creative legal advice on risks, complex agreement structures, and company policies.
  • Effectively collaborate with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and legal colleagues to solve problems and close deals quickly while protecting Reddit.
  • Help build and improve commercial processes, such as playbooks and workflows, to increase efficiency and support Reddit’s rapid growth.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of agreements, with a focus on technology & services: MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, Cloud; corporate operations: leases, staffing agency agreements, employee benefits, office events; vendor & audit: audits with major firms and legal tech; ads: measurement agreements and ads partnerships.
  • What We’re Looking For: 5-10 years of commercial legal experience, broad exposure to inbound commercial contracts; someone who loves negotiating contracts in a fast-paced environment; superior negotiating, drafting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; a “getting to yes” approach; strong soft skills; love for process and scale; team-oriented; JD and a current license in a state bar in the United States.

  • A "getting to yes" approach in working with the business, while protecting Reddit’s best interests.
  • Strong soft skills with the ability to build relationships with legal team members, colleagues, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • A love for process and scale; you look for opportunities to build out processes and playbooks to make the business and legal team more effective.
  • Team-oriented with experience working in a diverse environment.
  • JD and a current license in a state bar in the United States.
