About the role

  • Serve as Reddit’s primary link to regional advertising agencies, educating planners and buyers on Reddit’s value proposition, inventory, and solutions at the agency level.
  • Manage a performance-driven book of 15–20 active clients, including quarterly planning, forecasting, and renewal motions.
  • Build and grow relationships with brand directs to showcase the value of the reddit ads platform
  • Hunt for new business across priority verticals and markets; build pipeline through prospecting, networking, and agency enablement.
  • Partner with channel partners in-region to co-sell, enable, and scale revenue through distributors and resellers.
  • Educate the market at the agency level via lunch-and-learns, workshops, and thought leadership that elevates Reddit’s presence in SEA.
  • Collaborate with an Account Manager (Sydney) to set campaign strategy, ensure flawless execution, and drive in-flight optimizations and performance insights.
  • Operate with high ownership and minimal oversight — a true self-starter who can build repeatable motions from the ground up.
  • Lay the groundwork to grow the region, including pipeline coverage, territory plans, and demonstrating the need for future sales team expansion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital advertising sales with direct exposure to agencies and brand advertisers in SEA.
  • Proven track record managing a 15–20 account book of business with consistent quota attainment.
  • Strong network and credibility with media agencies and trading teams; comfortable educating and influencing at the planner and leadership levels.
  • Demonstrated new business acquisition success (prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing).
  • Experience working with or through channel partners (e.g., distributors, resellers) to drive co-sell motions.
  • Highly self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a build-and-scale environment.
  • Excellent consultative selling, storytelling, and negotiation skills; data-driven with the ability to translate performance into clear recommendations.
  • Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales productivity tools; strong forecasting discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
