About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments
Ensure the accurate and timely documentation of received shipments, including updating inventory records
Supervise team members, providing guidance in receiving operations, fostering efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork
Collaborate with other warehouse departments, such as inventory control, warehouse operations, and quality control, to ensure the efficient receiving of products
Ensure monitoring of receiving operations to maintain a high level of operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the receiving area

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in distribution center receiving operations
Leadership knowledge of receiving processes, inventory systems, and supply chain operations
Knowledge of inventory systems and processes
Ability to guide and motivate team members for effective and efficient operations
Skill in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance receiving processes
Expertise in monitoring and analyzing KPIs to drive continuous improvement in receiving operations
