About the role
- Translate creative concepts into compelling environment designs and models using modeling, texturing, rendering environments, compositing, and lighting
- Participate in creative ideation, strategy and brainstorming
- Collaborate with and inspire other artists to produce the highest polish product
- Create clean game topology, UV’s and textures and implement 3D assets into game engine
- Maintain consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and collaboration
- Work closely with producers to understand production plan, timing and deliverables
Requirements
- Stellar portfolio demonstrating design and 3D modeling; portfolio demonstrating concept art
- Experience designing 3D characters and environments in a fast-paced gaming environment
- Demonstrated experience in technical art production and end-to-end modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, and rendering workflows
- Well versed in 2D and 3D software including Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Photoshop, and any other relevant software; familiarity with Unity a plus
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly
- Capable of articulating and presenting creative ideas
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Red Games Co. does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
