About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and deploy an enterprise NOC/SOC in an AWS Landing Zone
Design, build, and deploy a secure cloud environment
Support the migration of their Training Environment in the AWS Landing Zone
Deploy multiple containerized software solutions from 3rd party vendors
Maintain EKS clusters
Establish hybrid networking between on-prem and cloud deployments
Develop and implement a containerized Landing Zone solution, establishing governance and a secure governance framework for tenant workload management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud
Cloud/AWS experience includes:
- Infrastructure as code (IaC) - CDK (preferred) or Terraform
- Programming Languages - Python, Typescript
- Core services - Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB
- Security - IAM, VPC, KMS
- Networking - routing, security, DNS, Load balancing
- CI/CD
- Monitoring - CloudWatch, OpenSearch
- Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
5+ years of solid software engineering experience
AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar
