About the role

  • Overall responsibility for group-wide financial accounting, controlling and purchasing/procurement
  • Strategic development of the group’s financial management framework
  • Development and establishment of a standardized procurement and purchasing strategy at group level
  • Establishment and assurance of consistent governance, reporting and compliance structures for finance and procurement
  • Leadership, development and alignment of assigned teams around clear objectives
  • Design of efficient, scalable processes and structures in a multi-entity setup
  • Close collaboration with executive management and the managing directors of subsidiary companies
  • Management of external partners and service providers within the area of responsibility

Requirements

  • Degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in finance/controlling and procurement
  • Experience in group or multi-entity corporate structures
  • Strong knowledge of standardizing, designing and rolling out commercial/financial processes; experience with ERP implementations is an advantage
  • Clear, appreciative leadership style with experience in team development
  • Structured, analytical approach to complex issues
  • High personal responsibility, enjoyment of shaping processes and strong implementation skills
  • Confident communication, including at executive management level
