About the role

  • Overall responsibility for the group-wide areas of financial accounting, controlling and purchasing/procurement
  • Strategic development of the group's commercial/financial control framework
  • Development and implementation of a standardized purchasing and procurement strategy at group level
  • Establishment and assurance of consistent governance, reporting and compliance structures for finance and procurement
  • Leadership, development and alignment of assigned teams according to clear objectives
  • Design of efficient, scalable processes and structures in a multi-entity setup
  • Close collaboration with Executive Management and the managing directors of subsidiaries
  • Management of external partners and service providers within the area of responsibility

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in finance/controlling and procurement
  • Experience in corporate group or multi-entity structures
  • Solid knowledge of standardizing, designing and rolling out commercial/financial processes; experience with ERP implementations is an advantage
  • Clear, appreciative leadership style with experience in developing teams
  • Structured, analytical approach to complex issues
  • High level of personal responsibility, a passion for shaping processes and strong implementation skills
  • Confident communication, including at executive management level
