About the role
- Individual and group counseling for trainees on social pedagogical issues
- Promotion of trainees' social and personal development
- Counseling in difficult life situations as well as for school-related and personal challenges
- Active support of trainees in career preparation and professional integration
- Careful documentation of social pedagogical work and preparation of reports for court
- Collaboration with teachers and other educational professionals to design and deliver support
Requirements
- Degree in social pedagogy, social work, or a comparable university qualification
- Knowledge of and practical experience in German as a Foreign and Second Language (DaF/DaZ) desirable
- Experience in social pedagogical work, preferably in a school or education-related setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
