About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright and TypeScript
Developing and maintaining backend/API automated tests using .NET, C#, REST API and xUnit
Performing exploratory, regression, and functional testing across multiple applications and services
Creating and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and testing documentation
Validating integrations between distributed microservices
Working closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure product quality across the SDLC
Supporting testing activities in AWS-based environments
Analyzing issues, reporting defects, and supporting troubleshooting activities
Contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation coverage.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of commercial experience in software testing
Hands-on experience with UI test automation using Playwright and TypeScript
Practical experience with backend/API testing using .NET, C#, REST API, and xUnit
Experience with manual testing including exploratory testing, regression testing, and test case creation
Knowledge of AWS cloud environment
Experience working with PostgreSQL (SQL knowledge is a plus)
Knowledge of GIT (github) and Scalar
Understanding of microservices-oriented architecture
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
Upper intermediate English level (B2)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of test reporting and monitoring tools
Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.
Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
