About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Call on target, current and prospective customers to generate sales
  • Utilize the computer as a sales aid and be competent in MWI e-mail and promotions
  • Understand the needs of veterinarians and clinics and select products to satisfy those needs
  • Establish relationships with veterinarians and clinics
  • Review and utilize sales analysis and reports in planning
  • Prepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes
  • Stay current on products and services offered by MWI
  • Meet sales goals and budget numbers by territory and manufacturer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant industry or sales experience, preferably in animal health
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to sell
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record
