About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Call on target, current and prospective customers to generate sales
- Utilize the computer as a sales aid and be competent in MWI e-mail and promotions
- Understand the needs of veterinarians and clinics and select products to satisfy those needs
- Establish relationships with veterinarians and clinics
- Review and utilize sales analysis and reports in planning
- Prepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes
- Stay current on products and services offered by MWI
- Meet sales goals and budget numbers by territory and manufacturer
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 1 to 3 years of relevant industry or sales experience, preferably in animal health
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to sell
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record
