About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage infrastructure engineering personnel
Provide technical leadership, direction, prioritization, coaching, and performance management
Serve as the technical liaison between MICRO and parent company IT teams
Provide infrastructure, security, performance, and stability reporting to upper management
Support product and engineering teams across Accu-Trac, ProControl, and Stocker1 with infrastructure planning and technical strategy
Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency planning
Provide leadership and architectural oversight for Linux and Windows infrastructure environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and 4 years of progressive technical experience
Prior leadership or management experience preferred
Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, preferably Ubuntu
Working knowledge of Windows Server environments
Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and operational support
Strong understanding of networking concepts, best practices, and infrastructure troubleshooting
Experience with hardware, server lifecycle management, and enterprise support environments
Experience supporting production software environments preferred
