Reimbursement Specialist, Bilingual, French

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a Team Lead to all Reimbursement Specialists within the program by being a resource for them
- Daily and ongoing communication with Program Manager / Associate Program Manager for new and existing projects
- Ongoing evaluation of internal reimbursement processes
- Reimbursement process and protocol development and maintenance as assigned by the Program Manager / Associate Program Manager
- Implementation of processes and protocols with the Program Manager / Associate Program Manager
- Implement departmental KPIs as directed by the Program Manager / Associate Program Manager
- Monitor and evaluate departmental KPI activities and provide report to the Program Manager / Associate Program Manager
- Be responsible to for closing manager schedule / shifts
- Coordinate and manage all aspects required in order to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients
- Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician’ offices and healthcare professionals in order to maximize reimbursement solutions
- Coordinate documents, submissions and all related paperwork to insurance companies, public/federal funding programs
- Implement Financial Means Test as required in an effort to maximize patient’s prescription drug coverage
- Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained
- Acquire in depth knowledge of public/private and federal funding mechanisms
- Responsible to report all Adverse Events to the assigned units/departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of 3 years experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech or healthcare-related industries
- Project management experience is an asset
- Bilingual (French & English) is required
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
- Effective organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs
