About the role
- Develop, implement and oversee the compliance program and activities within the business units
- Oversee, partner and communicate with the Local Compliance Representatives
- Actively partner with BU leadership to support efforts to achieve business goals in compliance
- Draft and ensure development of compliance policies, compliance training, and BU compliance plan
- Monitor emerging risk areas or trends for the BU
- Provide proactive support to BU leaders to identify compliance risk areas
- Annual review of compliance policies and procedures
- Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer on the progress of Compliance Program activities
- Coordinate with various internal teams on compliance reviews and monitoring activities
- Assist in the annual risk assessment process conducted by the Office of Compliance
Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years related and progressively responsible experience
- Previous work experience as a regulatory attorney or compliance professional
- Extensive knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations
- Knowledge of Cencora policies and procedures
- Proficient interview and interrogation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to evaluate facts and make sound management decisions
- Strong interpersonal skills; self-starter
- Ability to travel as required
