About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain EPM applications, including creating reports, dashboards, and user interfaces.
  • Write business rules, scripts, and other code to automate processes and solve complex business problems.
  • Build and manage integrations with other corporate systems, such as ERPs and data warehouses, to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to gather requirements, conduct user acceptance testing, provide training, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Optimize and maintain existing EPM systems and help with migrations from other platforms.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience required
  • EPM software proficiency: Experience with specific platforms like Oracle EPM Cloud (including EPBCS, FCCS), OneStream, or Pigment is often required.
  • Strong coding ability in languages like Groovy, SQL, or C#/.NET is frequently needed.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, or Power BI is important.
  • Experience with APIs for automation and data manipulation is valuable.
  • A strong understanding of financial processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and planning, is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work effectively with both finance and IT teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
