About the role
- Leads and participates in project planning processes
- Develops work plans or reviews other work plan timelines
- Responsible for identifying development tasks in support of project planning
- Works closely with architects to assure all systems align with IT long-term strategy
- May participate in the design and development of databases associated with applications
- Codes applications or enterprise software systems using a disciplined development process
- Integrates solutions with other applications and platforms
- Supports and executes testing efforts across the life cycle
- Develops convergence plans to meet standards
- Promotes effective use of information technology by educating users on system functionality
- Provides technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
- Develops reports and presentations for senior management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field
- 8 or more years of application programming and analysis experience
- Experience in leading projects
- Advanced programming skills in Microsoft .Net Technologies (C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server) languages
- Advanced understanding of relational database design and theory
- Ability to translate complicated business requirements into multiple solution options
- Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Patterns and use cases for applying them
- Proficient in technical experience with systems networking, databases, development, and user support
