Support Cencora's MWI Animal Health veterinary and livestock production solutions
Study customer and industry business processes to identify objectives and adapt technology
Provide one-on-one interviews, consultation, customer training, software system configuration and technical support
Act as primary contact for assigned clients and coordinate all related client service activities
Use system analysis to configure MICRO Technology systems and develop programs, specifications and procedures
Communicate requirements between the system, animal health and clients/veterinarians
Coordinate schedules and complete work orders related to preparation of MICRO Technology system for installation, including hardware specifications handed off to Field Hardware IT
Perform system configuration, data loading, quality assurance and testing of historical data
Train new and existing clients on the system, product inventory management and FDA compliance guidelines
Install specified software packages including operating systems, database engines and word processing systems
Define, develop and communicate written operating procedures for use of the Micro Technology system
Design unique customer system solutions and create business requirement documents for Business Analyst/Software Development teams
Evaluate and test prototypes and final software products/features to ensure client requirements are met
Update client software, define and implement remote access connectivity, and present ongoing evaluations to internal Micro teams
Monitor system performance, detect software/process problems and work with development teams to implement changes
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Associate’s degree or 2 years of college experience preferably in Animal Science, Feedlot Management, Nutrition, or other related major
Two to three years of experience working in a feed yard, primarily in the feed management division
Working knowledge of PCs, operating systems, data bases, software engines, and other related software
General knowledge of cattle and agricultural processes
Valid driver’s license and frequent travel in the United States
Driving requirements: no more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents in the past 3 years; no more than 2 moving violations and/or accidents in the past year; no "major convictions" within last 5 years (DWI/DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, careless or reckless driving, homicide or assault through use of a motor vehicle, attempting to elude a police officer, suspended or revoked license, or 3+ license suspensions)
On call 24/7 every 6-7 weeks for remote support
Overnight travel required up to 50% of the time (typically one week a month)
Must be able to drive a company vehicle
