About the role

  • Customize program elements to meet the needs of designated prescribing physicians
  • Ensure compliance with nursing care standards
  • Review patient status and assist the prescribing physician in completing patient enrollment
  • Prepare prior-authorization requests for public or private insurance
  • Proactively evaluate programs and make recommendations to improve outcomes
  • Complete all relevant reports according to established timelines
  • Welcome each patient and record required information
  • Provide treatment guidance to patients and physicians
  • Coordinate activities related to public and private insurance coverage
  • Follow up with patients on navigation outcomes to secure reimbursement
  • Contribute to treatment coordination and ongoing patient monitoring
  • Complete all relevant reports as required

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) diploma required
  • Experience in public or private third-party reimbursement, pharmaceutical representative roles, managed care, or clinical support is an asset
  • Bilingualism (must speak French)
  • Previous experience as a case manager is an asset
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze current enrollment volume per physician
  • Ability to interact with physicians and their staff as a trusted medical partner
  • Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with program colleagues
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively in French (spoken and written); English proficiency is an asset
  • Attention to detail and results-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity
  • Computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite are an asset
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Comply with performance standards and required program procedures
