About the role
- Tracks and coordinates clinical, financial and operational data to ensure accurate information and assists with development of reports
- Analyzes internal business reports, trends and projections and reviews relevant data with departmental leadership
- Analyze and interpret data to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of outpatient pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with system pharmacy leadership to identify areas for improvement and assists with implementation strategic solutions
- Maintain performance metrics to track the success of pharmacy initiatives
- Utilize data analytics tools to generate reports and dashboards for stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between pharmacy, finance and IT teams to ensure seamless data transmission between systems and teams
- Support the implementation of new technologies and processes to improve pharmacy performance
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of pharmacy performance reporting to ensure accuracy and validity
- Develops the specifications for ad hoc report requests and enhancements to existing reports
Requirements
- Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience
- Previous experience in pharmacy finance, health system finance and/or 340B is highly desirable
- Strong familiarity with outpatient/retail pharmacy applications and standard reporting
- Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to convey results of analysis in an easy-to-follow format

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work well within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Access, Word, Power Point and Power BI
