About the role
- Lead the design, implementation and management of appropriate processes and controls which help assure that information created, acquired or maintained by Cencora and its authorized users, is used in accordance with its intended purpose.
- Lead the proactive identification of risks and protecting Cencora's information and infrastructure.
- Create visibility and qualification of risks and drive initiatives to help ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Strategic, operational and financial responsibility for the development and delivery of appropriate security services and solutions to IT.
- Partner with Business Unit management to identify critical business assets and architect appropriate security measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Certification in Information Security relevant areas such as Audit (CISA), Security Management (CISM), Security Professional (CISSP)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience of progressively responsible experience in the design, implementation, and management of Information Security shared services for a global corporation (Fortune 500)
- 5+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in information security
