About the role
- Conduct advanced investigations into potential insider threat activities
- Analyze behavioral indicators, user activity logs, and technical telemetry
- Ensure evidence is collected, preserved, and documented in accordance with legal standards
- Develop and refine insider threat detection use cases, playbooks, and monitoring processes
- Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Corporate Security on sensitive investigations
- Provide clear and concise reports of investigation findings
- Act as a technical escalation point for junior analysts
- Mentor junior analysts on investigative methodologies and techniques
- Stay current on evolving insider threat tactics and monitoring technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of insider threat frameworks, behavioral analytics, and investigative methodologies
- Familiarity with privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, CCPA)
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or investigations
- At least 3 years dedicated to insider threat detection or related areas
- Hands-on experience with insider threat monitoring platforms, behavioral analytics tools, and log analysis
