About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the group's technology strategy and long-term roadmap.
- Lead engineering, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security functions.
- Oversee blockchain infrastructure, crypto wallets, payment systems, and digital asset integrations.
- Ensure highly scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms with excellent uptime and reliability.
- Drive engineering best practices, CI/CD, automation, QA, and continuous improvement.
- Manage third-party technology providers, integrations, and strategic partnerships.
- Lead enterprise IT, internal systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing global engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Payments, Risk, Operations, and senior leadership to align technology with business objectives.
- Report regularly to the Board on technology performance, investment, risks, and future initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior technology leader within iGaming, betting, fintech, payments, or a similar high-scale environment.
- Strong background in modern software architecture, microservices, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, crypto payments, wallet infrastructure, and security best practices.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience evaluating build vs. buy decisions and managing technology vendors.
- Experience leading large engineering organisations through periods of growth, transformation, or restructuring.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
