About the role
- Aggregate and process structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, CSVs, etc.)
- Clean, transform, and analyze datasets for actionable insights
- Apply clustering techniques and segmentation (e.g., K-Means, DBSCAN, hierarchical clustering)
- Build and evaluate data models for internal tools and business needs
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations and concise summaries
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data science or a similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Python and commonly used libraries: pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.
- Solid understanding of data structures, statistics, and machine learning fundamentals
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL)
- Ability to structure and interpret complex datasets independently
- Communication skills, both written and verbal
- References from previous projects or employers are required
- Nice to Have: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Familiarity with time-series data, anomaly detection, or recommender systems
- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
