About the role
- Identifying areas suitable for automation across the product lifecycle.
- Select, configure, and maintain automation frameworks (e.g. PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
- Defining quality metrics and reporting mechanisms (test coverage, defect density, mean time to fix, etc.).
- Continuously reviewing and refine testing processes to improve efficiency and quality outcomes
- Working with developers, product owners, and system engineers to ensure testability is built into system design and user stories.
- Conducting exploratory testing to identify usability, performance, and integration issues.
- Developing automated test suites for regression, API, and UI testing.
- Integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Documenting and communicate defects clearly to development teams and track their resolution.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software testing on both automation and manual testing
- Experience in leading a team of testing both manual and automation
- Experience in creating test strategy, test plan, test reports for enterprise project
- Supervise UAT process and support users in performing UAT process
- Define quality standards and approach suitable for enterprise projects
- Strong collaboration with BAs, Devs and delivery manager
- Act as the testing subject matter expert within the engineering team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and business audiences.
