About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in collecting, validating, and cleaning data from multiple internal systems (e.g., transaction data, finance, and operational tables) to ensure accuracy and consistency for reporting.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports in tools such as Looker or Metabase to track key business metrics and operational KPIs.
  • Write and debug basic SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and transform data for ad‑hoc analyses and recurring reports.
  • Collaborate with analysts and product teams to understand business questions, translate them into simple analytical tasks, and document the assumptions and logic behind calculations.
  • Help maintain data quality by validating outputs, flagging inconsistencies, and contributing to data‑dictionary or documentation efforts for shared data assets.
  • Participate in team meetings, present findings succinctly, and incorporate feedback to refine analyses and visualizations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related discipline).
  • Strong interest in data, analytics, and business intelligence; some exposure to SQL, Excel, and a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Metabase) is preferred but not required.
  • Comfort working with numbers, spotting patterns, and explaining insights in clear, non‑technical language.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, take ownership of small tasks, and ask questions to clarify requirements.
  • Bonus: Understanding of data warehouses / ETL concepts.
