About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Counsel clients and internal teams on best practices incorporating organic and paid social into an overall social strategy
- Act as day-to-day social media lead inclusive of strategy development and paid campaign execution across several healthcare accounts
- Work cross-functionally with creative teams to develop content and creative for clients, customized for social platforms and ad units
- Pivot seamlessly between creative and analytic tasks
- Direct the execution of social media tactics including content development and distribution
- Responsible for execution of paid media campaign planning, setup, creation, optimization, and management within social ad platforms
- Interface directly with clients via live meetings and email correspondence
- Cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Write compelling and engaging social media content for organic and paid campaigns
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media, ideally in a regulated industry (such as biotech or pharmaceutical or financial)
- 1-3 years of experience managing paid social media as a hands-on campaign manager
- College degree (BA or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media, both personally and professionally
- Proficiency with social media buying platforms: Meta Business Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
- Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision
- Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
- Detail-oriented, well-organized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget
- Proven record of writing and publishing short and long form social content
- Expert in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Agency experience in a client-facing role preferred
- Understanding of the FDA regulations guiding social media efforts for biotech and pharma clients preferred
