About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain AWS reference architectures using services such as ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and S3.
  • Develop and operate GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with staged deployment workflows and environment protection rules.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) including remote state backends and module versioning.
  • Define and maintain lift patterns to transition apps from prototype environments into AWS-hosted staging and production.
  • Operate the observability stack leveraging AWS native and integrated tooling.
  • Implement cost governance practices, partnering with Information Security on integrated controls.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years operating production workloads in AWS environments
  • Strong experience with Terraform (IaC lifecycle, state management, modules)
  • Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
  • Working knowledge of AWS IAM and least-privilege access design
  • Experience supporting SLAs, incident response, and on-call operations
