About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build rough versions fast, test ideas against real engine constraints, and own the technical direction that comes out of it.
Create the game-side experience where the knowledge graph can be applied at different stages of product development.
Design and maintain the core SDK for Unity that connects the game engine to our backend services.
Track relevant work across knowledge graphs, game AI, and adjacent fields.
Profile and optimize memory usage, garbage collection, and multi-threaded operations to keep the runtime overhead of our tools as low as possible.
Collaborate with other Tools Developers to make sure the experience of your product stays consistent with our other products.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in game development with deep proficiency in C# Unity.
Proven track record of building pipelines, plugins, or editor extensions for internal teams or public release.
Deep understanding of how game engines handle data loading, reference counting, and memory management.
A passion for building APIs and tools that are intuitive, well-documented and oriented towards developers.
Genuine interest in adjacent fields - knowledge graphs, game AI, interactive narrative research.
