- We are seeking an innovative and experienced Unreal tooling programmer to join our dynamic team in revolutionizing gaming experiences through advanced GenAI technologies.
- As a tools programmer, you will play a critical role in seamlessly embedding GenAI capabilities into the Unreal Engine environment, ensuring that these integrations enhance real-time performance and functionality.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Integration planning and development: Work with the team on integrating AI, and other emerging technologies, seamlessly into the Unreal Engine environment ensuring proper functionality and performance.
- Deep Unreal Engine knowledge: Leverage existing knowledge of Unreal Engine in our product development and solutions.
- C++ SDK/API: Ensuring the capabilities are in place connecting the GenAI model platform to the game and experience engines like Unreal
- Being part of building prototypes and showcases
- Code and memory optimization: Identify and implement optimizations to improve the overall performance of AI systems within the game.
- Iterative workflows: Conduct iterative testing and refinement of prototypes based on feedback from designers and stakeholders.
- Curiosity and inspiration. Research and stay updated on the latest advancements in Unreal, and Generative AI.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with platform developers, game designers, artists, and team members to understand the gameplay requirements and incorporate AI features seamlessly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with Unreal Engine.
- Prior experience working with and shipping PC/mobile/console games.
- Excellent C++ skills.
- Preferably prior experience with working with Generative AI.
- Very good organizational and communication skills.
- Curiosity, empathy, and the drive to achieve something special.
