Finance Analyst
RAVLFinance Analyst supporting accurate financial reporting and day-to-day accounting operations at RAVL. Playing a key role in strengthening internal finance function while contributing to the company's growth.

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Managing the full accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
- Processing accounts payable, managing vendor relationships, and reconciling AP subledgers.
- Managing accounts receivable, customer invoicing, payment application, collections, and AR aging.
- Performing bank reconciliations, monitoring cash positions, and identifying discrepancies or variances.
- Supporting HST/GST filings, payroll reconciliations, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Assisting with year-end audit preparation and collaborating with external auditors.
- Helping design, document, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Maintaining and improving the chart of accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
- Contributing ideas that improve efficiency, automation, and financial processes as RAVL continues to scale.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
- Experience using modern accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP/accounting platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a remote-first environment.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
