About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Attend court, sign pleadings, settle cases, and perform various attorney tasks.
Handle all aspects of litigation and engage in risk analysis.
Prepare for and conduct trials, providing analysis on legal and regulatory risks.
Review correspondence, and files to ensure appropriateness.
Manage own caseload effectively.
Familiarity with state and federal consumer laws and any changes in regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Licensed to practice law in Florida.
Background in civil litigation and experience attending court proceedings.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
Ability to draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc.
Knowledge in Bankruptcy Law, Foreclosure Law or the FDCPA/FCRA/TCPA is a plus.
Experience in collection law and/or significant courtroom experience is a plus.
