About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Approve (homologate) railway safety products intended for installation on the RATP network, ensuring their compliance with the RATP environment and with the technological rules defined in RATP reference documents.
Participate in technical watch and in updating RATP technical reference documents.
Lead hardware-level safety assessment activities for products designed by manufacturers/suppliers.
Analyze manufacturers' hardware-level safety documentation.
Record the results of evaluation and approval activities in reports and technical notes.
Serve as the technical interface with manufacturers, maintenance teams and project management/engineering contractors.
Monitor and ensure the operational sustainment of approved products.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or a university degree specialized in electronics.
At least 5 years' experience in the field of functional safety.
Familiarity with CENELEC EN 50126 and EN 50129 standards and their specifications.
Ability to read electronic schematics.
Good understanding of complex industrial systems operating in harsh environments.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Rigour, critical thinking and a strong technical interest.
Good writing skills and ability to synthesize technical information.
