About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning and implementation of supply and drainage projects.
- Prepare design and construction drawings for pipelines (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), including longitudinal and cross sections.
- Perform hydraulic and technical calculations; develop pipe network and connection concepts.
- Support the preparation of specifications, cost estimates and tender documents.
- Coordinate with clients, utilities and authorities.
- Conduct quality checks of planning documents and ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements.
- Support construction supervision and participate in site meetings.
- Document and maintain project data; contribute to BIM/GIS integrations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree (BSc, MSc, University of Applied Sciences) or comparable qualification in civil engineering, utility/energy supply engineering, environmental engineering or a related field.
- Graduates and career starters with strong interest and initial practical experience are welcome.
- 0–4 years of professional experience in utility network planning or related areas.
- Experience with CAD/GIS software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic experience with calculation tools.
- Basic knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. DIN, DWA).
- Good MS Office skills.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently.
- Analytical thinking, technical affinity and attention to detail.
- Very good communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to visit construction sites and travel occasionally.
