About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the planning and implementation of supply and drainage projects.
Prepare design and construction drawings for pipelines (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), including longitudinal and cross sections.
Perform hydraulic and technical calculations; develop pipe network and connection concepts.
Support the preparation of specifications, cost estimates and tender documents.
Coordinate with clients, utilities and authorities.
Conduct quality checks of planning documents and ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements.
Support construction supervision and participate in site meetings.
Document and maintain project data; contribute to BIM/GIS integrations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree (BSc, MSc, University of Applied Sciences) or comparable qualification in civil engineering, utility/energy supply engineering, environmental engineering or a related field.
Graduates and career starters with strong interest and initial practical experience are welcome.
0–4 years of professional experience in utility network planning or related areas.
Experience with CAD/GIS software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic experience with calculation tools.
Basic knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. DIN, DWA).
Good MS Office skills.
Team player with a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently.
Analytical thinking, technical affinity and attention to detail.
Very good communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
Willingness to visit construction sites and travel occasionally.
