About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare design and construction drawings for utility networks (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), including longitudinal and cross profiles
- Perform hydraulic and technical calculations; develop pipe network and connection concepts
- Support preparation of specifications/bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender documentation
- Coordinate with clients, utility providers and authorities
- Quality-check planning documents and ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements
- Support construction supervision and participate in site meetings and visits
- Document and maintain project data; contribute to BIM/GIS integrations
- Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and training activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree (Bachelor, Master, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Services/Utility Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Entry-level candidates with strong interest and initial practical experience are welcome
- 0–4 years of professional experience in utilities/pipeline planning or related areas
- Knowledge of CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic experience with calculation tools
- Basic knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., DIN, DWA)
- Good MS Office skills
- Team player, willingness to learn and ability to work independently
- Analytical thinking, technical affinity and attention to detail
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Willingness to attend site visits and occasional travel
