About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare design and construction drawings for utility networks (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), including longitudinal and cross profiles
  • Perform hydraulic and technical calculations; develop pipe network and connection concepts
  • Support preparation of specifications/bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, utility providers and authorities
  • Quality-check planning documents and ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements
  • Support construction supervision and participate in site meetings and visits
  • Document and maintain project data; contribute to BIM/GIS integrations
  • Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and training activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree (Bachelor, Master, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Services/Utility Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • Entry-level candidates with strong interest and initial practical experience are welcome
  • 0–4 years of professional experience in utilities/pipeline planning or related areas
  • Knowledge of CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic experience with calculation tools
  • Basic knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., DIN, DWA)
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Team player, willingness to learn and ability to work independently
  • Analytical thinking, technical affinity and attention to detail
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to attend site visits and occasional travel
