About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare design and construction drawings for utility networks (water, wastewater, district heating, gas, power corridors), including longitudinal and cross profiles
Perform hydraulic and technical calculations; develop pipe network and connection concepts
Support preparation of specifications/bills of quantities, cost estimates and tender documentation
Coordinate with clients, utility providers and authorities
Quality-check planning documents and ensure compliance with technical standards and requirements
Support construction supervision and participate in site meetings and visits
Document and maintain project data; contribute to BIM/GIS integrations
Participate in internal knowledge-sharing and training activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree (Bachelor, Master, University of Applied Sciences) or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Services/Utility Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
Entry-level candidates with strong interest and initial practical experience are welcome
0–4 years of professional experience in utilities/pipeline planning or related areas
Knowledge of CAD/GIS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS) and basic experience with calculation tools
Basic knowledge of relevant standards (e.g., DIN, DWA)
Good MS Office skills
Team player, willingness to learn and ability to work independently
Analytical thinking, technical affinity and attention to detail
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
Willingness to attend site visits and occasional travel
