About the role
- Independently lead projects in the field of railway bridges
- Structural design of railway bridges and other engineering structures within rail infrastructure
- Carry out preliminary, design, approval and construction planning
- Prepare and participate in procurement/tendering processes
- Coordinate the project team and all external project stakeholders
- Ensure delivery of services in compliance with technical requirements, schedules and quality standards
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering (M.Eng., M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing., Dr.-Ing.)
- Approximately 7 years of professional experience in the detailed design of railway bridges
- At least 2 years of professional experience in project management
- Good technical knowledge of steel, composite and reinforced concrete construction
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken
- Experience in planning railway bridges
- Experience in executing projects using BIM desirable
- Business-fluent German language skills, written and spoken
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Confident and professional manner
