About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work in shifts as Control/Desk Engineer in Co-generation plant
Responsible for the duties of Control Engineer/DCS Engineer in Cogen Process
Operation of Boilers, Turbo generator and its auxiliaries
Responsible for safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the plant to achieve targeted production
Responsible for safe start up, shut down and emergency operations of the Co-gen plant
Co-ordinate with maintenance agencies to get operational problems rectified
Train and guide personnel working under control to carry out their functions
Maintain ISO documentation and follow all relevant SOP’s/Work Instructions in the plant

Requirements

What you’ll need

B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical engineering
10~12 years in any Thermal Power Plant as DCS/Control engineer
Operating high-pressure boilers with pressure rating around 65 kg/cm2 and temperature of around 485 deg.C.
Knowledge in SAP operating system
Knowledge in QMS (ISO) system
Knowledge in Industrial best safety practices
