About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

To Take the Field rounds for accessing the healthiness of all Electrical equipment & Logging the operational parameters.
To execute the Safety LOTO & work permit procedures.
For trouble shooting Electrical problems, that arise during plant operations including break downs and carry out the necessary rectifications as and when required.
Basic knowledge of Electrical circuits, Electrical Machines, Electronic devices, Electrical drives is a mandatory need.
To Maintain close co-ordination with Process team for effective plant operations & Process requirements.
To work under the supervision/control of Electrical Shift In charge & Gen Shift In charge.
To be willing to work with own hands as required.
To attend preventive & Break down maintenance works of Electrical equipment.
To take part in the critical maintenance activities of Electrical equipment with good co-ordination among other staff, as required.
To report the irregularities /deficiencies of Electrical systems that he may come across, to the in-charges and the next management level.
To involve in the Plant shutdown maintenance works.
He shall be disciplined in Industry with strict adherence to Industrial safety, channel of communication awareness and working with team as a member of it.

Requirements

What you’ll need

DEEE with min 5 years Industrial Experience / B Tech (EEE) with min 3 years Industrial Experience in Operations & Maintenance of Electrical installations of a process plant.
His academic qualification percentage shall be min 60%.
Shall have strict safety adherence with good conduct.
He shall have hands on Experience in Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of various Electrical equipment/systems.
Should be able to read the Electrical drawings thoroughly and identify the wiring defects.
Should be able to prepare the Control schemes as necessary and execute suitable wiring for the power & control circuits with minimum advice.
Capable to understand the fault diagnostics and execute suitable rectifications for the troubles with the Variable Speed drives.
