About the role

  • Supervise project work execution on site
  • Study the procedures and instruction for either project, maintenance or shutdown to ensure compliance to safety, specification, standard and procedures in order to achieve highest quality of the work
  • Identify study, propose, and implement area for improvement (project) in the field of Mechanical engineering to enhance operation and improve total equipment reliability.
  • As contract holder to ensure compliance to the procedures, policies and guidelines set to support the erection, commissioning and maintenance needs of the relevant contractors and suppliers associated to the works
  • Checking of inward material for the Mechanical items supply from different suppliers for correct technical specifications as per PO and issue from stores
  • Populate inputs into SAP to ensure data and history of equipment maintenance activities are captured accurately.
  • Provide inputs to maintenance engineer with regards to Mechanical maintenance activities, schedule with procedure and compile all maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical advice during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and corrective action of Mechanical Maintenance breakdown, to find the root cause of failure and best solution in order to restore the functionality back to normal.
  • Participate actively in meetings, competitions, campaigns, discussion and other activities which is relevant to the job roles.
