About the role
- Serve as a technical leader within cross-functional engineering teams, helping translate mission needs into executable technical plans.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, operations, and delivery partners to manage dependencies and surface risks early.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Comfort operating in cloud-native, DevSecOps, data, or security-focused environments where priorities evolve.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience as a software engineer, platform engineer, cloud engineer, or systems engineer.
- Leading or mentoring engineers within delivery teams.
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and mission stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and comfort explaining technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
