About the role

  • Design, develop, and support Oracle EBS Payroll customizations and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain Fast Formulas to support payroll calculations, validations, and reporting requirements.
  • Build and support payroll interfaces, reports, and extensions using PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, and BI Publisher.
  • Partner with functional teams to translate payroll and HR requirements into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot payroll processing issues, including retro pay, balances, costing, and data integrity issues.
  • Support payroll testing cycles, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Participate in payroll upgrades, patches, and ongoing production support activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Payroll
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining Oracle Payroll Fast Formulas
  • Proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle database development
  • Experience with Oracle HRMS and Payroll tables, payroll balances, and payroll processing flows
  • Experience developing reports and extracts using BI Publisher and/or Oracle Reports
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development
  • Ability to work directly with payroll and HR stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
