About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Transform sales and manage overall inventory
  • Partner with fellow Planners to propel sales
  • Analyze results to decide next actions and identify overall business trends
  • Consider customer experience, margin, current events, return rates, and new names in business decisions
  • Prioritize on-air sales and productivity maximization
  • Script assigned shows for all channels according to scripting and productivity guidelines
  • Work with planning partners across all channels
  • Strategize items to maximize selling exposures
  • Identify and execute reorders
  • Participate in seasonal, quarterly, and assortment planning for assigned categories
  • Identify and react to promotional opportunities
  • Price products, manage markdowns, and manage category margin to assigned goals
  • Analyze show/item performance and recommend or initiate next actions
  • Monitor and advise on programming adjustments across all channels
  • Report to the Manager of Merchandise Planning
  • Openings available on Culinary, Accessories, and Home Innovations teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing analytics, Merchandising, Business, or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of the retail industry
  • Ability to work with data to develop ideas, build strategies, and achieve needed results
  • Must reside in PA, DE, or NJ
  • Relocation assistance is not available
