About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the day-to-day business of manufacturing from initial concept to fulfillment center delivery
  • Develop samples across all apparel categories
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms for assigned businesses
  • Communicate daily with offices, agents, and direct suppliers
  • Build strong relationships with sourcing partners
  • Ensure implementation of QVC Group standards and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to calendar milestones and proactively identify issues that may impact the business
  • Own the calendar at brand level and manage day-to-day sourcing operations
  • Partner with design, technical design, and buying teams to maintain seamless development processes
  • Challenge cost sheets and negotiate costs
  • Drive progress and negotiate costs
  • Anticipate potential quality issues and offer resolutions
  • Adhere to current Sourcing Strategy and Goals
  • Partner with QA and Supply Chain to ensure uninterrupted merchandise flow

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or Product Design preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in product development, production and/or sourcing
  • At least 3 years of experience specific to apparel categories
  • Garment construction would be nice to have
  • Must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware
  • Must be able to work onsite at Studio Park in West Chester, Pennsylvania several days per week
