About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and administer operational procedures for perfectly completing activities for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and keeping the highest standards of inventory accuracy
- Network and consult with corporate / site resources and facilities staff to ensure low-cost efficiencies and high service levels are maintained
- Model QVC Group Values and operating principles to build a positive, motivating, engaged Culture, treating all team members fairly, ethically, and respectfully
- Review existing operations to determine what improvements the department can make to allow for cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service
- Oversee daily operations for assigned area, partnering with other departments
- Identify, report, and communicate with the Department Manager trends and irregularities
- Take an approach to analyzing deficiencies and develop plans to correct them
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience in a high volume distribution center or warehouse environment
- Experience encouraging a positive work environment and partnering with team members
