About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support QVC and HSN in inbound or outbound operations.
Maintain benchmark levels of safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement within the building and supply chain.
Report to a Senior Operations Manager.
Build initial teams, establish procedures, metrics, and processes.
Lead a team of Area Managers and hourly associates.
Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of products, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Guide strategic planning and forecasting.
Develop teammates for career progression and learning.
Improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery while expanding warehouse capabilities.
Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve perfect order fulfillment and operational insights.
Champion a customer-focused mentality across the team to ensure high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations; prefer retail/e-commerce and apparel experience.
Experience developing and managing 50+ employees.
At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment.
Experience using Kaizens or process improvement
