About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

identify aging inventory not in its proper bin location
run a report from the Warehouse Management System to identify aged inventory
use various tracking and utility systems to analyze needs
check work queues ensuring FIFO processing
utilize Warehouse Management System to understand shipment delays
partner with outbound/Inventory Control for proper order processing
support problem solving or exception handling responsibilities
perform essential job functions of the warehouse including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stowing

Requirements

What you’ll need

good overall general computer knowledge
working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
ability to work autonomously with little oversight or direction
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
excellent problem solving and time management skills
ability to lift items weighing approximately up to 50 lbs
ability to perform basic math calculations
ability to differentiate between colors
previous experience in a research role
previous experience in a problem solving function
