Fulfillment Center Equipment Operator, 1st Shift
Qurate Retail GroupFulfillment Center Equipment Operator supporting warehouse operations at QVC's Suffolk, VA location. Operating forklifts and handling various logistics duties across the facility.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operating a powered industrial truck (forklift) throughout the shift
- Supporting the responsibilities of picking, stowing, shuttling, loading, unloading and other jobs that use PIT equipment
- Performing a variety of responsibilities across varying departments using a handheld scanner or computer
- Unloading, receiving, stowing, picking, packing, shipping, or returning orders to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to work full shifts, overtime, and stand/walk for 10–12 hours
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
- Willing to push, pull, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine and up to 80 feet using PIT equipment with a safety harness
- Willing to be trained and operate various powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts and stock pickers
- Committed to meeting safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards
- Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitude
