Fulfillment Center Equipment Operator – Part-Time
Qurate Retail GroupFulfillment Center Equipment Operator operating powered industrial trucks at QVC's Suffolk location. Responsible for various tasks supporting the fulfillment process at QVC Group.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) throughout the shift
- Support the responsibilities of picking, stowing, shuttling, loading, unloading and other jobs that use our PIT equipment
- Use either a stationary pc or handheld scanner device while operating the PIT
- Driving a stock picker or turret truck at levels of 60-80 feet in the air
- Perform a variety of responsibilities across varying departments using a handheld scanner or computer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to work full shifts, overtime, and stand/walk for 10–12 hours
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation
- Willing to push, pull, bend, squat, twist, grasp, and reach throughout the shift
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine and up to 80 feet using PIT equipment with a safety harness
- Willing to be trained and operate various powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts and stock pickers
- Committed to meeting safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards
- Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitude
