About the role
- Manage the daily business of Manufacturing from initial concept to FC delivery
- Work side by side with the Sourcing Manager to align Global Sourcing strategies
- Develop samples in all apparel categories and negotiate pricing, delivery, and terms
- Communicate daily with offices, agents, and suppliers to build sourcing relationships
- Ensure implementation of QRG's standards and procedures and adherence to calendar milestones
- Partner with design, technical design, buying, QA and Supply Chain to ensure seamless development and uninterrupted flow of merchandise
- Report to the Manager, Global Sourcing and work in the office 2-3 days per week at West Chester Headquarters
- Take ownership of brand-level calendars and manage daily sourcing operations
- Analyze vendor TNAs, provide cost options, review cost targets, and develop brand-centric strategies across vendors and regions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in apparel product development, production and sourcing
- Experience with sample development across apparel categories
- Experience negotiating pricing, delivery and terms with vendors
- Ability to analyze vendor TNA to minimize lead time
- Understanding of construction, quality expectations, and cost engineering concepts
- Experience collaborating with design, technical design, buying, QA, and Supply Chain teams
- Ability to manage brand-level calendars and meet calendar milestones
- Must be able to work in-office 2-3 days per week at West Chester Headquarters
- Note: Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time
