About the role
- Assure merchandise meets established quality standards and implement activities within the product specification validation and item approval process
- Apply relevant industry, regulatory, and company requirements to the evaluation of products
- Coordinate post-delivery audits to ensure continued compliance and follow escalation processes
- Determine appropriate packaging for product integrity (pack recipe)
- Work with vendors and factories to resolve product quality issues
- For proprietary products, help develop technical specifications including QA and regulatory requirements
- Report to the Manager of Product Performance and work hybrid to the West Chester, PA headquarters (6x/mo.)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a Quality or Technical environment
- 3+ years experience following and applying quality standards in the testing of product
- 1+ year experience with QA or Product Development in the Retail or Consumer Product industries
- Basic knowledge of consumer product regulatory requirements within appropriate markets (US/EU)
- Understanding of the relationship between product features and the customer experience
